A member asked:

Chewing tobacco and acne, is there a correlation between the two?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: If you feel you must use tobacco, i'm glad you're chewing rather than smoking -- it is far safer. Keep an eye on the inner lining of your mouth for possible premalignant lesions, though most chewers never get these. Your acne can be managed; if topical benzoyl peroxide hasn't cleared your acne in two weeks, get with your personal physician.
