Usually Benign: I think almost every kid I have seen long term has had a murmur at some point.Murmur just means an extra sound, usually vibration from blood flow. It can amplify with fever or even be normal flow in veins of the neck.If at a typical location & of usual quality as a benign or innocent murmur, it can come and go.Suspicious murmurs lead to special tests, yours did not. Probably nothing: Benign or "functional" murmurs are sounds made by a normal heart. They are super common and can come and go. If that's what you have, then it's fine and don't be surprised if it comes back.
