Many things: At 37, if you have trouble swallowing (i.e. Food 'gets stuck'), you could have esophageal stricture--a disruption of the rhythmic contractions in the esophagus that causes a bolus of food to move down to the stomach. Other things? Gerd, hiatal hernia, others? If you were older, possibly heart issues? Best to talk to your physician and get it checked out.
