A member asked:

I'm just wondering, if you develop natural immunity to chicken pox can you still catch shingles?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Shingles: If you have ever had even a mild case of chickenpox, the virus that causes it remains in your body forever. It can be reactivated due to changes in your immune system function, stress, illness or another exposure to chickenpox.
