A member asked:

Is night sweats related to scheuermann disease type 2?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Kyphosis (scheuermann's disease) is a curving of the spine that causes a bowing or rounding of the back, which leads to a hunchback or slouching posture...Basically scoliosis of the thoracic spine. This does not cause night sweat! severe kyphosis is a risk factor for pneumonia etcc...Which can cause night sweat, among other things. If you have night sweats, consult your doc. Good luck.
