It is related 2 many: When you say "mersa" i presume you are referring to how many pronounce msra. Mrsa is a resistant form of a common skin bacteria. Just having it on your skin does not mean you will get an infection. But, it can cause many different types of infection. Most commonly skin but may cause others including lung, kidney and blood.

Can be more severe in patients with immune compromised conditions such as patients with chemotherapy, autoimmune disease, other medications.
