Generally no. : Coronary artery disease is narrowing of the feeding vessels to the heart, with risk factors that include smoking, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and high-fat diet. Sepsis caused by MRSA in the bloodstream is a serious infection that could lead to the failure of multiple organ systems by precipitating septic shock. There are situations where sepsis could provoke a heart attack and lead to chf.

No: Sepsis will not cause coronary artery disease. Embolism of infected clot to the coronary artery can cause a heart attack leading to congestive heart failure.
