Truly a syndrome: Characteristic is 4 quadrant pain with areas of sensitivity or trigger points, associated with a sleep disorder, morning stiffness, possible gastro-intestinal distress, headaches, fatigue, in absence of other disorders which could mimic. There is at this time, no consistent confirmatory lab study, and this is mainly a clinical diagnosis.
