Not fibro!: Adolescents very rarely get pfs. It is a disease, typically of middle age associated with sleep disturbance, mild affective symptoms, and characteristic trigger points, not typically joints.

Widespread pain: ? what are common fibromyalgia (FM) symptoms (Sx) in adolescent sufferer. Sentinel symptoms include chronic widespread pain, depression, chronic fatigue, generalized weakness, restless sleep often secondary to chronic pain, & confusion (fibrofog). Adolescents often come to FM via Hypermobility Syndrome and biomechanical injuries from pursuit of extreme sports (skate & snow board) & contact sports.
