A member asked:

How do i find out why can i feel my cavity procedure after 7 shots to numb it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Types of sensation: There are several kinds of sensation, pain, light touch, pressure temperature and position. Without going into detail on each the input from all those together gives us what we recognize as 'sensation' local anesthetics have their greatest effect on pain so you can still feel pressure too some degree especially. Also if your nerve pattern is a little different than normal it may be harder to nu.
