What are the emotional, mental and social affects on skin cancer victims?

Skin Cancer: Skin cancers that occur in highly visible areas such as the face can be associated with emotional and social consequences. Visible scars or alteration of facial features can affect the patient's emotional, mental and social well being. Scarring and deformity can be minimized if skin cancers are diagnosed and treated early. The more advanced the cancer the more extensive the scars and deformity.

Very: Broad question. Depends on type of cancer, location, extent of surgery. Most skin cancers are basal cell and rarely do more than a local cosmetic issue.
