No: Emotional problems do not increase the rate of bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is generally caused by carcinogens. Risk factors include smoking, dyes, chemicals, and benzene compounds. Although emotional problems may affect bladder symptoms such as urinary frequency, it does not increase your chances of developing bladder cancer.
