Addictive? Yes!: Like regular cigarettes, e-cigs are delivery vehicles for nicotine, an extremely addictive substance. Therefore, e-cigs are addictive. The question of safety has not yet been conclusively answered, but the concern is that chemicals used as propellants in the e-cigs might have risk of cancer and lung problems. In a nutshell - yes they are addictive, and the jury is still out on their safety.
