Unrelated: Candida is a common yeast/fungus found in the GI tract and can be a complication of using inhaled steroids for treating asthma. Also can be a cause of vaginitis after treatment with antibiotics. Gluten is a protein found in wheat and other grains that in susceptible people is not digested leading to diarrhea. This is celiac disease and treated by eliminating gluten from the diet.
