Unlikely: To be the first sign of skin cancer and is most likely an enlarged or inflammed lump node or the tail of the breast. It may be the sign of skin cancer but is more likely to be the result of an inflammatory condition affecting the upper extremity or ipsilateral chest. Of this does not improve within 3 weeks, i would seek medical evaluation.

Armpit Lump: A lump in the armpit could be an enlarged lymph node due to a skin cancer in the upper extremity or trunk. It could also be caused by a cancer in the breast. I recommend that you see your primary care physician to have this lump checked out.
