Variable treatments: If it is on eyelids or face and there is lots of swelling a shot of steroids at an urgent care clinic will be the quickest help. If several scattered areas and just itchy, avoid the calamine and look for aveno, benedryl or ivy dry lotion. Packets of aveno powder can be added to tepid water for a soothing soak thatcan reduce itching. Good luck.

See doctor: If the problem is a mild one, time will heal it. If the problem is severe, you will need to see a doctor who may prescribe some Prednisone pills or a cortisone injection for you. In the meanwhile, try apply some otc Hydrocortisone cream 3 to 4 times daily.
