Not much you can do: Time to healing depends on how deep the burn is. In general, a burn that heals in less than three weeks does not need surgery. Initial treatment is to wash with soap and water 1-2 times a day, apply an antibiotic ointment (bacitracin). If pain increases or no healing in 10-14 days, see your doctor or someone experienced in burn treatment. Even if no scar, expect some pigment change.
