Counseling: Whether we are talking about the bully or the bullied; both need to learn some new coping strategies in how to deal with other people's behavior. Bullies need to learn that their behavior will cause trouble and not be helpful in the long run. Those who are bullied need to learn how to ignore and detach from the bully in a constructive way. These are all life-long skills that we all need to develop.

Inferiority: Believe it or not, bullies tend to have inferiority complexes, often from having been bullied themselves. and yes, it can continue into adult life. Tell someone you know and trust about the bullying. Keeping it inside does no good.
