Find a therapist: Who specializes in eating disorders and work with them on the laxative abuse. There are also day and inpatient programs for bulimia whare all aspects of the disorder can be addressed by a team of therapists and doctors.

Hi, I have abused laxatives. (stimulant type). Will my doc know from a colonoscopy? Does this abuse cause Crohn's disease or result in stoma.
Part of my ED recovery was ending daily laxative abuse (12-14 a day). How can I rebuild my health from the effects of said abuse? I still need to use various fiber supplements, and Metamucil regularly in order to have regular BMs, are these as bad?
