I see your ?: Your question is, is it possible that your pregnancy test is possible because there's still some HCG left in your blood stream from the miscarriage, or is this a new pregnancy. Without dates it's impossible to answer the question precisely. But you are right, the hormone of pregnancy can linger for a few days/weeks. With a D&C the levels drop much faster. More information needed to answer.
