Don't Do It: Taking narcotics for arthritis pain should be very carefully considered. This is a big and addictive step. Second you do not tolerate it well anyway. Third it is very wise to get out of the western medicine mindset that a pill may help everything and look at yoga, exercise, meditation and other alternative ways to help one manage or diminish pain.
