Cocktail?: All antidepressants are equally effective for different people. Effexor (venlafaxine) also has good anti-anxiety effects. To know whether a particular medication will be effective for you, will be a process of following your progress with your doctor. Psychiatrists are skilled at selecting medications for people, following progress, and adjusting as needed. Hoping you'll soon be feeling better!
