Take good care: The sun can be very damaging to the skin as the sun rays emit ultraviolet radiation that not only can discolor the skin but long-term will cause advanced aging and even skin cancer, potentially. The use of sunscreens and proper moisturization is important to maintain good skin health.

Avoid more sun: The use if topical retinoids may help to reverse some of the damage at your age. Use sunblock to prevent future exposure. Gentle exfoliation may also provide some benefits. Fractionated laser therapy may help with discoloration but is not usually performed in a young person.
