Another source (http://goo.Gl/ywlflm) says there's insufficient evidence for using pomegranate for diarrhea & dysentery. So from an evidence-based perspective, looks like it's still up in the air. Consider eating an orange or unpeeled apple as 2 different sources of fiber. Drink plenty of fluids & exercise regularly.
