Another week: I would give it another week if it is not growing. If it is till there in 2 weeks, i would suggest seeing a dentist to determine what it is and get appropriate treatment.

Needs to be seen: By a dentist in order to know what it is and what treatment might be necessary. It is always better to have it checked out early on rather than taking a chance on something flaring up with pain and\or swelling. Hopefully it is something minor but don't take a chance. Call your dentist for an appointment.

Exam: Schedule an exam with a dentist to be sure but don't worry yourself too much in advance. Many bumps and lumps are benign variations of 'normal'. One common explanation is a mucocele which is a swollen minor salivary gland. To be sure you need an actual dental exam, however. Internet questions are better for general information and not so much for specific diagnoses.
