Lesions like you described need to be visualized and possibly biopsied for a proper diagnosis. See an oral surgeon.

You have what is called Fungiform papillae which are small bumps on the side or top of your tongue. They are the same color and not cancerous. Leave alone, or see your dentist for consultation.
