Throat bumps: Bumps on the back of the throat are most commonly simple lymphoid aggregates, or small bits of tonsil-like tissue that are present throughout the throat. They shouldn't be the cause of coughing, however. I suspect the two are not related. I would have you see an ENT regarding the cough, though.
