Confusing question: The heel calcifies, it is made of bone which is primarily calcium. If you mean she has a calcified area in an unusual place, like along the bottom of the heel, that can just be a bone spur, on the side a bone disruption from trauma that is healing. As confusing as your question is, it would be best to discuss it with whoever ordered the x-ray.

Depends: On location and age. Could be anything from a bone spur to haglands . Where on heel is it located. Has it been xrayed yet?
