Minuscule risk: The amount of radiation that you are exposed to from routine simple xrays is so minuscule that it really is not even worth mentioning. I would not worry about this tiny amount of exposure. On the other hand, if someone suggests a CT scan study of a child, you do need to weigh the risk, as one CT Scan is about the same as 2,000 chest xrays. Don't worry about those tiny amounts.
