Neck Injury: Certainly can be related if you had a traumatic neck injury. Concern would be a herniated disc if traumatic injury. Mri is right choice to evaluate.

Had chest tightness & throat tightness like the feeling of somebodys hands around my neck choking me, its not anxiety, had my gallbladder removed on tues & the feeling is even worse, tested positive for staph could that be whats causing this?

Throat always feels tight (choking feeling) when singing, talking not talking etc and the intensity varies daily and has been persistent for at least a year. What could this possibly be? Is it anxiety issues? It goes away with a muscle relaxer?
