See your dentist: There are a couple of things that may bee happening and the best thing you can do is see your dentist and find out what is going on with you. This can happen with bruxism , clenching and grinding, and with a dry mouth. Talk to your dentist about this.

Temporary Trismus: Temporary trismus is divided into intraarticular causes and extra-articular causes. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction represents the most common cause. I agree with others that a you should see a dentist to make sure you do not have an abscess which also represents a common cause. Good luck and well wishes.
