Wilson's from Copper: Wilson's disease is a rare disease caused by accumulation of copper in the body. I'm not aware of any psychiatric drugs containing copper. Wilson's disease is usually genetic but skips generations since it is autosomal recessive. It causes a variety of symptoms, including tremors, cognitive problems (memory, personality changes) that can be confused with depression, liver probs, eye changes. TTYD.

My response: Psychiatric drugs do NOT cause Wilson's disease which is a problem with copper metabolism. This would be evaluated by blood testing including copper and ceruloplasmin. Since you seem concerned, see your doctor and uncover why you have issues. A tardive dyskinesia can be treated if present.
