Good start: The clean-and-clear benzoyl peroxide is an excellent choice for initial treatment. If you do not get the results you want after two weeks, get with your personal physician. Since you are a female, if you can take the oral contraceptive pill this may clear you, or a topical retinoic acid derivative or antibiotic may be sufficient. Acne is a chronic but manageable disease. Good luck.
