Cramps: You could need water or potassium as your muscles are built up with Lactic Acid and causing cramps and pain. Increase water intake and potassium intake, such as a banana, to help reduce chances of cramping pain.

Stretch, hydrate?: Have you stretched out your calves and foot tendons? Also lack of hydration can play a role in cramping.

Agree: With dr. Sung but would add if you have thyroid condition this may cause and potential vascular issue. Try what dr. Sung suggests first.
