Spasm of foot : The common reason why this may occur can be problems with the nerves going to the foot. Sometimes they get compressed around the ankle. There are other possible reasons for this. I suggest starting with your primary care doctor.

Dehydration???: You don’t say if you get this problem any specific time of the day or if it’s throughout the day. A lot of times muscle spasms can be associated with dehydration or an electrolyte deficiency. Did you try drinking and a substance like Gatorade to replenish liquid and electrolytes into your system.
