Exercises: 1. Regular aerobic exercise can allow people to recover more quickly from bouts of acute anxiety. 2. Meditation ("the relaxation response") decreases the stress hormone in your blood, decreases blood pressure, and helps to ease anxiety. 3. Eliminating irrational or dysfunctional beliefs/fears that cause anxiety (get a book on cognitive behavior therapy for anxiety).
