A member asked:

In anemia, is black tea healthy after meals ?

This is serious: If you are anemic, you have a duty to learn why. At your age, with a new anemia you have cancer until proved otherwise. Demand that your physician explain why you might be anemic and what measures are being undertaken to find the cause. Black tea isn't going to be an important factor one way of the other, and neither will any "pop" advice off the internet. Ur life's on the line; act accordingly.

Tannins in teas...: Can interfere with fe absorption, but in moderation, a cup of tea should not be a problem at all. Like most things in life, moderation serves you well. You might want to reach out to your physician for some guidance about nutritional issues and to make certain that you are addressing the anemia and its cause. Good luck.
