Reflux: It sounds like you are having gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) which occurs when stomach acid comes back up into your esophagus, burning the lining. You should avoid caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine which can make this worse by lowering the pressure in the valve that prevents reflux. You should be checked for H.pylori which is a bacteria that can cause this. GERD can cause anemia.
