A member asked:

Is it okay to use neosporin on vaginal and anal tears after a yeast infection? i don't have any vaseline, and i'm on holiday.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neosporin: Allergic reactions: Polymyxin B - neomycin compound may cause the area being treated to become more sensitive. If you experience itching, dry skin, reddening, and swelling of the area being treated or if a lesion or wound is not healing, stop using this medication and contact your doctor. I do not tecommend the product because of a greater chance of an allergic reaction.
