Call dentist: It is not normal to be experiencing severe pain a week later. You should call your dentist and have this taken care of before you return for your crown to be placed.

Check back with dent: There are several reasons that your teeth and or mouth still hurts. Your dentist needs to check your crown and fillings to find the cause. It could be as simple as your bite is off and needs adjusted.

Jaw pain week later: I wouldn't worry about it but i certainly would let your dentist know what you are experiencing and have him\her see what the problem is. Some discomfort a week later from the injection or some sensitivity with a temporary crown in place is certainly not typical but 'severe' pain at this time is troubling and certainly needs attention. Don't just wait, call your dentist.
