I had a severe coughing fit it can cause head pain. 7pm last night i almost passed out it was so bad. 12 hrs later still almost as bad advil (ibuprofen) helps ?

Cough headache: The benign cough headache or benign exertional headache is experienced as a sharp pain upon exertion or coughing. As the name implies, there are no positive medical findings. You definitely can have OTC medication to abort the pain. If concerned see your PCP for further investigation.
