No!: No, a psychiatrist listens to the problem you're having, and makes the best recommendations s/he can based on what's happening now. Addiction psychiatrists are very familiar with these drugs and their typical syndromes -- perhaps that's why the other psychiatrist who answered you when i did, mentioned "addiction" medicine as a possible help for you. A good psychiatrist will hear & respond to you.
