Many people can: Heal the pain associated w past traumas. Some share w family, friends, clergy or other people who have had similar situations. However, if a person has been involved in a life threatening or horrific trauma & they have problems w sleep, hyperarousal, avoidance or reliving throught dreams, flashbacks or painful memories that are not resolving or are getting worse, then mental health care can help.
