IUD side effects: An iud is coated with slow release synthetic progestins. Many time, Progesterone and progestins will increase the breast's sensitivity to your body's own estrogen. Be sure to take an iodine supplement (ex seaveg, kelp, etc) every day. This will work to lessen your symptoms.
