Is a tia always diagnosable? rt arm went numb, no feeling whatsoever, 4 days in hospital and they said no evidence of tia, feeling/movement is back?

TIA: You cannot always find a lesion in the brain with it, but you need to undergo some tests to check your circulation in the brain and carotids and also run some tests for multiple scelrosis and lupus. All are on the differential with such symptoms at your age.

See below: A TIA is a transient ischemic attack. By nature it goes away quickly. Once gone it is difficult to "prove" it occurred. The doctors can help you avoid anything that would trigger another event (contraceptive pills, smoking, etc) and make sure that there are no sites that can cause any other problems such as clots in legs. Good luck.
