You need to : See your doctor for an anorectal exam and referral to a GI doc for afurther workup as needed. This could be hemorrhoids but other conditions such as proctitis, colitis, polyps and even cancer need to be ruled out. Hemorrhoids can still cause blood with a bm even if stool is not hard or big but if there is straining involved.
