A member asked:

Went to lunch with my family. noticed things that were worrisome. what are the symptoms of memory loss and who can get it?

Forgetfulness: In older people one may see difficulty finding the right word. This is normal aging. A more troublesome memory loss is losing short term memory, which means you don't recall what you had for breakfast or who you saw last night; worse is when you don't recall what was just said. Short term memory loss can be seen in elderly people who are depressed.
