Yes: It can also heal by itself if the tear is small and further injury is prevented.

Yes it can: Tear without a skin tear, muscles heal to some extent if jus t a partial tear, but the area will always be susceptible to reinjury and weakness. If tear is complete then no it won't heal without reattachement.
