OTC analgesics: You need evaluation of your back. Tylenol (acetaminophen) and nsaids have less potential for dependency than opiods.

NSAID and Tylenol (acetaminophen): Non steroidal anti-inflammatories and tylenol (acetaminophen) are non habit forming. Examples of nsaids are aleve, Motrin and toradol.

Band aids: I would work on minimizing the causes of the back pain. Ask your pcp if they can provide you some paperwork on back exercises. Walking and getting exercise regularly may actually help as well.
