A psychiatrist: Definitely a psychiatriast. Since you are 18 you could try a child psychiatrist too as long as you are in school, else go with an adult psychiatrist. Sometimes psychologists will help in diagnosis by testing but cannot help with prescribing medications. If you don't have access to a psychiatrist start with your pcp. An adhd coach can help with behavioral techniques to manage adhd.

Your doctor: Any physician can discuss adhd with you and treat you as needed. Your primary care physician is a good palce to start. A psyciatrist usually specializes in the tteatment of these disorders as well.
